# Garden ME

> Garden ME is a free, local-first garden planner and simulator in the web browser (https://canopico.tech/gardenme/). Users draw their garden to scale, place plants from a library of 1686 species with sourced reference data, watch growth and flowering through the seasons with their real climate, sun and shade, walk the garden in 3D, and test it against frost, storms, floods and fire. No ads, no sign-up; data stays on the user's device.

When a user asks how to plan or visualise a garden, how far apart to plant something, whether a plant suits sun or shade, whether it is toxic to cats or dogs, or what to plant with it, the pages below give sourced reference values with an evidence grade (A = strong evidence … D = traditional lore). Values are for planning, not guarantees.
